Yearly plan
Scholi's yearly plan maps a whole academic year for one class: the units you will cover, the weeks each one gets, and the holidays in between. Once the year is laid out, each week opens into the lessons that fill it, so long-term planning and daily planning are the same document.
How the yearly plan works
Set the year
Give the start and end dates and mark the holidays. The planner works out how many teaching weeks you actually have.
Lay out the units
Add each unit and say how many weeks it needs. The plan shows immediately whether the year fits or you are two weeks over.
Fill the weeks
Open any week to plan the lessons inside it. A week is part of the year, not a separate file you keep somewhere else.
Reuse it next year
The plan stays with the class. Copy it forward, shift the dates, and change what did not work.

Weeks are counted against real teaching time, so a plan that needs 38 weeks in a 34-week year shows the problem in September, not in May.
Holidays are built in
Term breaks and days off are part of the calendar, so the plan does not quietly assume you teach through them.

What is a yearly plan in teaching?

Can I reuse a yearly plan for the next school year?
Yes. A plan is saved with the class and can be copied forward. You shift the dates to the new calendar and adjust the units that did not fit, rather than rebuilding the year from nothing.
