Classroom toolkit

Scholi's classroom toolkit is a set of twelve browser tools for running a lesson: a random student picker, a group generator, a countdown timer, a noise meter, exit tickets, live polls, a scoreboard, and a seating chart. Each one opens in a tab, works on a projector, and needs no setup.

How the classroom toolkit works

  1. Open the tool you need

Every tool is one click from the toolkit page. Nothing to install and no setup before you can use it.

  2. Put it on the board

Each tool is designed to be readable from the back of a room, so it works projected as well as on a laptop.

  3. Bring students in when it helps

Exit tickets, polls and task assignment send a code to student devices. Responses come back live.

What you get

Random picker and group maker

Pick a student fairly, or split the class into balanced groups, without the same three names coming up every lesson.

Timers and a noise meter

A big countdown for timed activities, and a visual volume tracker with a keep-it-green challenge.

Exit tickets and live polls

Ask one to three questions at the end of a lesson and watch the answers arrive as a chart.

Scoreboard and seating chart

Award team points on a projector-sized board, and build a seat plan you can export as an image.

Common questions

What classroom tools does Scholi include?

Twelve: random student picker, random groups, warm-up generator, exit ticket, countdown timer, scoreboard, quick poll, task assigner, noise meter, seating chart, certificate maker, and a question-bank reviewer.

Do students need an app to answer a poll or exit ticket?

No. Students open a link or type a room code in any browser. There is nothing to install, and students do not need Scholi accounts to respond.

Do the classroom tools work on a projector?

Yes. Every tool is built to be legible from the back of a room — large type, high contrast, and no small controls that matter mid-lesson.
